After attending all three days of the Conservative Political Action Conference courtesy of the American Conservative Union, we are charged up and ready to go at it again.
The media has obviously been buzzing about Rush Limbaugh's closing speech at the conference. He brought the house down and went over his allotted speaking time by about an hour. In his speech he gave a rousing criticism of the Obama Administration. Speaking directly to the American people (the speech was picked up live by FoxNews and CNN and has been repeated on those networks) he also criticized the hopelessness and negativity that is coming out of the White House.
Likewise at CPAC Ann Coulter ginned up the base with her speech critizing the media's bias towards Obama.
Several politicians addressed the conference including fmr. Mass. GovernorMitt Romney, Rep. Mike Pence, Rep. Paul Ryan, Gov. Tim Pawlenty, fmr Senator Rick Santorum, Sen. Jim DeMint, fmr Ambassador John Bolton and many others ...
Mitt Romney won the CPAC 2009 Straw Poll as favorite for the 2012 Presidential Election.
Grassroots activists were also out in force and at CPAC they are more loved than the politicians and with good reason.
